What you guys fail to realize is these comics came out back in the 60's and 70's when there wasnt much diversity and a minority comic wouldnt have done well selling to a majority white audience. The bottom line is Black kids, Hispanic kids, Asian kids, all want to see themselves in these characters as well and theyre fictional characters it doesnt matter what race they are. pull your head out of your ass and please dont have any children EVER.

in political matters, this will make sense,jessica alba is Spanish but in the previous movie they made her look like a white person with blue eyes and blonde hair.. why didn't do it to Jordan to this movie.. paint him put on blue eyes and blonde hair. problem solve... then he is the right actor for the role...

Comic book are the original medium and the movie is an adaptation. Things will change and things will be added and removed so watch the spirit of the movie. Stop worrying about the changes. Comics were meant to be an outlet to express the changes and the unusual in our society and how that shapes us. Stop getting caught in the semantics of things.
