Should a Glendive school have canceled its field trip to a creationist museum?

I applaud this teacher and school for being brave to even consider having a field trip to this museum. If all we do is consider one side of every issue and not explore other options then we are doing a real injustice to our students. The true fact is that neither creation or evolution are proven facts; both are theories that have to be accepted by faith as no one was there at the beginning, so essentially both are "religions". So why so we outlaw the religion of creation and embrace the other religion of evolution. If a parent had an objection to the field trip they could opt out. Why spoil it for the whole class? And more importantly why allow out of state organizations to dictate to our local schools what they can and can't do with their classes. Leave it up to the local head of school.
