I watched Austin come to states and the look on his face and the determination that he had when he went to that long jump pit was, if you want this title you're going to have to take it from me. He has what it takes to become a next level athlete. When most crack under the pressure, it fuels Austin. As I watched him take his team from last to 5th in the 4x100 relay, he is the big meet competitor hence the anchor position. You got my vote as well Austin! When we are talking best competitor, I've seen you in real life, you are one of the best.
Austin Edwards is one of the best pound for pound athletes I know period. Put him in any sport he and he will become a factor. Hence he is a world champion in martial arts and becoming the 2x State Champion in Long Jump after being hurt all season. There are few people with his ability and deadication when it comes to working hard. He was born with a gift of raw talent but he understands that with patience and disciple he can become the best; and has proven it time and time again. I am excited to see what you can do in your near future Austin. I just read the article about your brother, all I can say is the bar is set high. From a close fan, I'll be watching you as you succeed. You got my vote "Team Austin"!
