Should a mandatory retirement age be put in place for doctors?

Not necessarily a mandatory age but a yearly competence testing by an independent party, not a few of his/her peers. Some doctors maintain their ethics and practice capabilities all theirs lives and then there are those who can barely function at 60 but are covered for by their peers and facilities.
