I also used previous sites after my three previous doctors skipped town. The first 45 doctors' offices I found listed as "accepting new patients" claimed that the list was out of date and they were NOT accepting patients or not accepting patients without families.

I signed up with one of the former 'find a doctor' websites back in 2006 and have never heard from them! I have found my own doctor now. Hopefully this program works better than the previous ones.
