Do you think towns in Maine do enough to celebrate Independence Day?

    I think towns do all they can. Some towns can't afford fireworks, but there usually a town nearby that has them. With property taxes the way they are, they do pretty good.

    I think we do a great job celebrating things. I think we need to do a better job at educating about civics such as why we have a constitution, why the bill of rights is so important and the first ten amendments are nonnegotiable and especially the three branches of government, how they are supposed to work and what there limitations are. Maybe then we might have a more qualified base of voters.
