...and it dumped a script file in my root directory - naughty!
With my Fuji X series cameras it makes perfect sense to upgrade firmware with both my bodies and lenses. They are constantly improving and adding new features.
You wouldnt drive a car and not get it services regulary. Makes sense to have firmware updates.
