About the redesigned front end styling on the 2016 Silverado......I could not believe it when I opened the cover of last month's Motor Trend magazine and saw what they did to what was, in my opinion, the most beautiful front end ever on a Chevy pickup. The new 2016 front end can not hold a candle to the 2015 , and was simply a copy of the basic GMC grille opening. And what they did to the hood reminded me of my grandmother's clothes wash board with all the creases! The redesigned 2016 Silverado front end ended my desire to buy a new Silverado. I will be driving my 2002 Silverado for several more years.

I think both look absolutely awful. When they revealed the 2014 gmc/chev models I thought, finally!.. the first GOOD looking front end since the 80's. then what does GM do? run it 2 short years before screwing with it. I can't believe such relatively subtle changes could so ruin the front of what was otherwise a good looking truck. I hate this new trend of battlestar galatica headlights and hoods that look like a prom party took place on them. I say all the time I'll never sell my 1987 crew cab, and everytime GM redesigns a truck I believe it alittle more.

I forgot to mention....the Silverado hood looks all jacked up with the center "rib" thingy....they really screwed up there!

I think the Silverado front looks better than the standard GMC Sierra front until you compare the GMC Sierra Denali front...then the GMC Denali WINS.
