Be honest, have you ever hit a car and run?

I once witnessed a lady put a 2 foot long bumper scrape and dent along the side of another vehicle in a Goodwill parking lot. After confronting her about it, she completely denied the entire thing, (even though her car was still touching the other vehicle). My cousin and I recorded the damaged she caused while pulling away from the car she hit and scraped just as bad fleeing the scene as well as getting her licence number in the process. The driver of the vehicle was a 17 year old girl and the car was her parents. After seeing the damage she broke out in tears. We told her to contact the police but she just left upset. The day progressed and latter that evening we spotted the same car parked at a house. So being the good citizens we can no longer be my cousin and I wen't to the nearest bar to consort with friends about the incident. 5 hours and about $250 worth of beer later we walked (stumbled) back to the house that we spotted the car at and low and behold it was still there, paint from the other vehicle on the bumper and all. It took us about 10 minutes but we managed to do about $3000-4000 worth of customization to the car. I guess to some up, this may or may not be a fictional story. But people should be aware that sometimes if the law doesn't take care of things other people just might.
