Would you support your adult child if they wanted to move home to save money for a couple of years?

it is a trend that will continue for longer than people expect. The jobs are out there, but in places like south Florida and California the salaries don't come close to covering the cost of living. On average salaries in South Florida run 17% less than the national average, but unless you want to live in the ghetto for lack of a better term, you better have two higher end incomes to afford living in most places. You can expect rent in a decent neighborhood to start at 1200 a month for less than 1000 sq ft. Maybe that. Sure we have plenty of jobs, but you can't afford to live here, unless you are married, take on a stable roommate or commute a lot.
