Is Ariana Crowder getting a raw deal on 'So You Think You Can Dance'?

However, I do think there should be some versatility in working with her natural hsir...perhaps this is the first time the stylists have encountered natural hair and simply do not know how to style it.

I agree with her mom!! And her hair style is part of the stage performance and not how she dances. It should change with each dance. It expresses what the dancer is trying to show to her audience. Expression is not just in the face and body movement, it is all of you out there...from your hair to your face to the placement of your fingers and toes!

I am glad that Ariana stands proud in who she is and does not feel the need to relax her natural hair or adorn it with weave simply to fall into societies vision of beauty. She is beautiful just as she is. Ariana is confident in her Gift of dance an is not reliant on socially accepted asthetics. This is after all SYTYCD. Other dancers are being accepted for who they are and their personal styles and individuality why can't she?

I think people cant get around her hair styles. I strongly feel if that would change, people will see her talents instead of how she looks.
