I choose resources because with any problem you have to begin at the root cause. It's no doubt better parental guidance and the ccw laws have contributed to this as well. But when you live in a society that will give people gun permits before employment its a dangerous game. However the lack of after school activities or summer activities for children are minimal or don't exist go to the inner city and you'll see a neighborhood full of people from as young as 4 to people as grown as 80 years and they have nothing to do but sit on their porches or hang out on corners or in alleys it's sad really. I read this article about rats and what happens when you put them in a desolate area depleted of resources. The rats would have many children at first but after awhile their behavior grew more aggressive and because of the lack of resources the rats would fight and even eat their children. What do rats have to do with people right? A lot! Have you ever heard of lab testing, rats give great insight as to how humans will react to a given situation. So take the inner city with its lack of resources. The people are crammed on top of one another and basically gain a fight to survive mentality. You couple lack of resources with lack of education, nutrition, and self respect that's how we get 13 year old kids killing each other because they lack everything except machismo. As long as black people or any people live in poverty and lack resources needed to help them try to succeed then this problem will continue to get worse. Please take a stroll a drive thru or whatever and count the number of abandoned houses buildings and open field lots. Then ask yourself what did a people do to deserve to be treated like shit in the country their ancestors built?
