Given the current jobs data (and other economic indicators too), will the U.K. or the U.S. see a rate hike first?
The U.S. can eat my shorts! The U.K. will hike rates first since the Fed just keeps breaking the hearts of forex traders every passing month.
The U.S. will see a rate hike by September. I can already see it my mind's eye!
The U.S. probably won't be hiking rates in September, but we'll definitely see a rate hike this year.
Hah! That's a trick question because the central banks of both economies aren't in a position to raise rates this year or the next.
