'Cuse fans responsible for this FRAUD will have a lot of explaining to do to Floyd. It sure won't be included in his legacy! Bobby V- They did this to you as well!!

Many thanks to my loyal fans I will never forget your love and support too bad Floyd and I couldn't have competed in the finals I know it would have harkened back to the early 60s when we played against each other Hamden versus Hillhouse with me tackling only air instead of him. That's Floyd and his TRUE fans would have wanted, not what's happened. WHAT A SHAME

Our family sincerely appreciates all of the votes and support. The comments are amazing. Our dad is in awe of this whole experience. Whatever the outcome, we know that he will always be the GREATEST!

Did Katz ever find his shirt?

No matter what the results say, Mike Katz is a freakin' LEGEND and a really cool dude! I bet, because he's so humble and such a nice guy, he'd be just fine with the results of this poll anyway - and because he knows all the respect and awe everyone has shown him makes him an immortal.

I would like to know if anyone voting for Jim met him or was alive while he played. There's something to be said for great athletes who are also great people. I'm not saying Jim wasn't a great person, but I don't think anyone voting would know whether he was or not. The people voting for Mike know him or were alive to witness his greatness...as an athlete and as a person.

Mike katz inspired me as a young female bodybuilder 35 yrs ago when women were just entering the sport. It is also the foundation for ANY sport. I coached HS volleyball for 15 yrs and had the team weight training. He is not only a GREAT athlete...but an amazing human being...a true class act. It would be an honor, as a former PE teacher, body builder, and athlete, to have Mike Katz represent CT.

Even if Mike Katz comes up short, he is already immortalized. Not only is he a great athlete and champion. he is one thing better a fabulous human being. I have never in all the years I have been in and following bodybuilding anyone say anything ill or derogatory about him, there has been only praise and positive comments. He is a very modest and humble man. Connecticut should be very proud to call Mike theirs. I am proud to call him my friend!

Anybody who is or was an athlete should know weight lifting is used in virtuously every sport in order for that athlete to be his best, mike Katz was an icon, nobody did it better except mayb Arnold !mike Katz was incredible , ask Arnold ask frank Zane ask Sergio Olivia ask anyone who ever competed against him. He motivated generations of athletes to dream and be the best they could be.
