I agree with your comments, Sean. If a person is not vetted to be in our country legally, not only should they not be allowed to work here, but they should not be given any benefits. You see what is happening in the EU. They have their hands full. The people from the Middle East and north Africa are inundating Europe to the point that the European natives' standard of living is in dire jeopardy.

As far as the horrific murder of Christian Freddie Akoa by three Somali muslims not being reported, the media is strangely silent on the modern-day holocaust of Christians by ISIS in the Middle East. The world said "nevermore" after the genocide of the Jews during WWII. Why is there not an outcry over the genocide of Christians who were inhabitants of the Middle East for thousands of years? It seems that the destruction of ancient artifacts by ISIS is far more important than the destruction of human lives.

What needs to be done is properly screen who and why is getting asylum. If you are legitimately here you should work. It has been reported that the embassy workers hired in syria to process asylum are all muslim and routinely deny asylum to Christians. Obviously everybody wants out of Syria but the most abused should get priority. Remember prior to WWII we turned away a ship full of Jewish refugees that went back to germany and most ended up in death camps.

Also, why hasn't WABI covered the murder in Portland by three Somali refugees?
