I may not be a super critic when it comes to fashion of this kind but I can tell as per my artistic view. The Headdress did not match. It is too big that the overall expression of the costumes makes it somewhat un-Filipino. I think there should be a revision for this. As for the use of "banig" it's APPROVED. I like the manner of composition for the tail esp. at the back, but i dont know why but I've got some feeling that it is too much, i guess? I dont know. The dress at the middle is AWESOME. I like it the way it is now. So far it is much better than what had been showed last year. Keep it all up Filipino Designers! :)
PS: why not consider a Sultanate inspired costume? Thanks!

The headdress is too much for the national costume. I agree it must be revised. Make it shorter and not so dangling. just an opinion lang po.

"A MELTING POT OF PHILIPPINE CULTURE DESIGN" - achieved but costume is too busy. Focus on one filipiniana material (embroidered barong). Quite difficult to see Pia's elegance. Please edit!
BEIGE GOWN - a dull color. Maybe add shinny gold accents to make it striking
BUTTERFLY TERNO SLEEVES - its a signature, yes!
HEADDRESS - filipiniana gown + maranao headdress = mismatched!
EMBROIDERED BARONG/BANIG WEAVINGS- overkill to the original silhouette of the gown. Make the barong embroidery as a whole balloon skirt can save the elegant look.
Congratulations and thank you for considering Filipino designers!

Head dress looks odd and seems un-Filipino. Please revise.

Headress is not suitable to the dress
I prefer not to put the headdress...
