What's your game plan for this event?
I'm planning a short-term long for the Loonie since I'm expecting the actual readings to be significantly better-than-expected.
Canada's in a recession! I'm gonna short the Loonie forever (or until new data comes up)!
The data will probably come in as expected or worse, so I'm planning to go with a short-term short for the Loonie.
I'll wait for the actual readings to come out before making a decision. I'll check out how oil prices are doing too.
Meh! I'm gonna straddle. I always do.
My game plan is to sit on the sidelines.
