Taking MORE money from the schools and we wonder why we are generally at the bottom of the education bracket. Quit stealing from our children!!!

Taxing cigarettes is going to cause people living under the poverty line even more financial hardships, increasing their need for government assistance in the long run. He does not look forward five years. He may not even be looking at anything at all with a sane perspective. It's simple economics and this exact scenario is an example in a college assignment I just completed regarding taxes and who it actually benefits. He should be removed from that position quickly before our great state suffers even more at his hands.

It's a damn shame for him to take money out of the education budget,the way I see he don't give a damn about the kids are the teacher..now that's going to leave the school with not enough teacher cause we have to cut back.damn shame we need to him out of office..asshole all he had to do is bring the

I don't disagree with the tax - but I strongly disagree with taking money from the Education Budget. Next time the Education Budget comes up short, will they move money from the General Funds over to the EB?? I seriously doubt it. Shame on the Legislature for coming up with this awful idea.
