We need strong protection against self-incrimination. If I have the right to conceal what I know, that should cover data I have stored on my devices as well. Failure to protect my devices will reveal a lot of information that the Fifth Amendment, and similar laws elsewhere, were meant to protect. 89%
Effective crime fighting is in our common interest. The police should have broad authorization to access stored data and force citizens to open password-protected and encrypted devices. This is more important than privacy and I trust the legal system to not misuse this right. 11%
