There's so much money involved with Wall Street that the sheer volume attracts investors from around the world. Yes the market, has corrections however the Wall Street brain trust mindset creates opportunities for many. The US government handcuffs Wall Street even though they always rise to the occasion. Why is it that the worldwide global economy does better when the US stock market goes on a roll?

Currently EU has least votes. Knowing that the "crowd" is usually wrong, this is a good sign for EU economy.

If this is a voting contest for Modi then his supporters from India will vote "India" no one else who is sane will say that. India currently stands a spot behind Italy in global GDP ranking and GDP per capita stands around $1500.
If you are looking for the most powerful economy it will surely be the US. The worlds dependence on dollar as the reserve currency, technology innovation etc will ensure this. But in 15 years the largest economy will be China. That will not make China the richest country or the most powerful country.

The return of China and India to become the largest and most powerful economies is just history repeating itself. Even if not by 2030, then at least the 2nd half of the 21st century. The U.S. needs to be able to accept this change and understand that geopolitics itself is democratizing.

Watch Chile. They are my choice for the future leader of the important Latin Americn bloc. They are already an important factor in the US market, and they have made English an official language along with Spanish. I believe Chile will join the US as the leader of thiis hemisphere, bringing together all of Spanish-speaking South America. As for Brazil? No comment.
