Definitly Elo, yes and the purple should get in long before some as they are the true pioneers of rock and roll. Rap has no business as Rock and Roll Hall of Fame isn't C- RAP

Jeff Lynne and his Electric Light Orchestra exemplify the major problem with the Rock Hall's thinking that a person or band must spawn others of similar ilk to deserve a place in the Hall. Bull!!! Talent, originality and an ability to reach and be accepted by the masses are the ultimate compliment to a writer, producer, arranger and singer such as Jeff Lynne. ELO is a MAJOR omission. p.s. - 20 years from now an elitist will argue that The Trans-Siberian Orchestra shouldn't be in the Hall either. I'm not a big orchestral rock fan but I do know talent and appeal when I hear it. Get your heads out of your effete butts people!
