Why not. We're being absorbed into a global society anyway. Our own country is dismantling itself.

Wow Reg. Guy it is what is Really!!!!! I for one are sick in tired of these small groups trying to change our history if you do not like they way our country is get out, we do not pledge to our flag in schools which should be mandatory this is AMERICA NOT A THIRD WORLD COUNTRY yet but with the people running around trying to take American rights away everyday that's where were headed do not give up your guns you are going to need them.

The dividing people up into opposing groups continues. First who cares about Columbus he isn't an American. Secondly the only holiday named after an individual American is MLK day. If George Washington's birthday became presidents day why can't MLK's birthday be civil rights day and all people who worked hard for civil rights like the dead of the 20th Maine can be honored? I would like to see a national holiday called inventors day and we could honor people like the wright brothers and maybe inspire youth to do something creative besides trying to be a pop star.

No one can do anything about it. It is what it is, get over it.
