Why in the world should we send BC profits offshore? The cab companies are adapting very well with new technology all over BC including the new ecab app which is marvellous to use. I think it works much better than UBER app since most of their cars are fake on the app. Go Vancouver Taxi Companies!

As a world Traveler I only care that the cab gets me from point A to point B safely. I find the cab companies in Vancouver are doing just great compared to other places in the world. Not sure why we so desperately need Uber. Ecab is a great app of course with anything new their are glitches.
