The best career mode is online career mode like mmorpg. Gamers always love more complex features in career mode

Wanted to qualify my "I never play career mode" vote be saying that, after playing some 30 hours of multi-player races with my RL friends and encountering so many bugs and glitches, reading about others glitches on forums and not being able to find decent force feedback settings for most of the cars, I decided to wait until the game matured with a few patches and somebody worked out exactly what all 37 sliders in the two separate force feedback menus did and how they affected driving feel.
Sadly, I played the game again a couple of weeks ago for a day with 4 friends and my Ariel Atom made an impact crater on the back straight at Monza Short while driving in a straight line with nobody around me after I hit an invisible object and in addition, the force feedback settings found for the car online didn't do much at all to tell me what the car was doing.

I don't usually like Carrer Mode's in racing games, I'm mostly just an online racer. But seeing as how badly designed, bug ridden, & threadbare the multiplayer is, I did give it a go once. Full damage on, all settings to rteal, maxxed out as a sim. My first race I get an invisible bump bug & I'm slammed into the wall, race over. Haven't touched it since, & for me personally that's a real game breaker.

Career mode needs more racing series, the invitational are great but they feel distractions and not part a career. I don't understand even with 100% race distance why some races are so short. I seem to spend more time qualifying.

I play career mode and I like it. The possibility to set the opponents level in % is really nice and the gameplay is ok too. I should improve it by increasing the Touring Car and more cars

I would play it more, but I found the whole system a bit difficult to get my head around. I started with the Ginetta cup, and while it might be realistic 6 or 8 races (whatever it was) wasn't much of a challenge, and I didn't get any offers to do anything else, so I kind of lost interest. I should try the endurance series, I prefer longer races.

Sad but thru, when the Crowdfunded project started most important thing for me was the single player to be nice and good. Over the time of development my interested changed, and not I have focused on proper online races with the little I have to play.

I did play the career mode when Project Cars was released.... But after 3 updates my career mode keeps crashing while playing. So I lost interest in playing career mode until it is fixed!
