Greg you need to stop watch rugby or get your obviously broken eyes checked. How do you watch his eyes while he's running away from you on the footage (obvious point but I'll put it out there for you as obvious doesn't seem to be your forte) it is clearly a hip contact. I can understand how you would be so bitter as players like McCaw are the reason your team hasn't won many RWC's. At the end of the day people like you would love to see him bench because he is a threat to your teams success and as such will

I'm a staunch Wallabies supporter which means I'd love nothing more than for McCaw to not be there, but this won't get him out. It's not even close to an elbow to the head. I couldn't believe it when I saw it on the news. Besides, it'll be more fun to beat the Kiwis with him IN the side! 4 strong teams in the semis - who could ask for more? Go Wallabies!

It's blatantly obvious that Richie's elbow didn't go anywhere near Louw's head. It looks a bit suspicious in normal speed but in slow motion it's clear that it's Louw's shoulder that is hit by Richies's hip.
Whatever you think of Richie (yes we all know he pushes the rules but who doesn't?) look at the facts and get over it.

You New Zealanders continue to try and defend the indefensible. Ritchie McCaw is the dirtiest player in world rugby and not only did his elbow make contact with the head it was deliberate. Watch is eyes he looks exactly where the opposition player's head is and varies the line of hos run so that he can hit him!

Obviously you Aussie's haven't watched the video in slow motion, McCaw never came close to contact with his head, contact was with the hip onto the players shoulder, noting to even be wasting our time talking about.....grow up....James,Richie is no cheat just a thorn in the Wallabies side.....bad news is we have plenty more talent to back up when McCaw the legend retires.

I saw a similar incident a few years ago when Quade cooper made a chance small contact with Richie during play. All the kiwis could do then was call out for blood. And they still carry on like kids about it years later. Richie is a cheat and always has been.

What about Louw sprigging Smith in the back immediately afterwards? smith gets up and holds his back in the contact area. It is hard to say that was unintentional!!,
