Not only I have avoided Black Friday sales for the past 25 years, I avoid shopping during December at retail stores that are open on Thanksgiving Day. Some holidays - Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter - need to be preserved as time to slow down, reflect and enjoy family.

We don't need all this 'stuff' ....seriously, Black Friday savings are not worth my time.
