I very much enjoy any & all British programming, And River is at the top of the favorite list at the moment. His visions are just a part of his brain, having a chat with another.....clearly he's been doing this since childhood....& he has been shamed by his family for being a mutterer, but it's what made him a great detective. I think Stevie helped him control it & cover it up, He loved, & trusted her & his lose is profound..... Great show, River is a series I would watch year after year, can't wait for another run of this series.
