With or without Schengen, EU citizens will still have the freedom to travel throughout Europe. The only difference is that passports will be checked at borders and any criminals trying to move about will be caught. So what is wrong with that? It's a no-brainer.

Definitely suspended. Not temporarily but indefinitely until the KE finds a way how to protect its own external border, but to also protect its law-abiding citizens against cross-border incursions by home-grown extremist criminals, Islamic and otherwise. Schengen suspension will return stability of indigenous populations and cultures that has made Europe's values and standards.
