The problem on Olympic View Drive is the number of people and trucks who park on the sidewalk. With greater and greater traffic volumes and some very high speed driving (based on the "Your Speed" radar signs), blocking the sidewalk, forcing people onto the street, is a dangerous situation. It should also be pointed out that the Republic garbage collection trucks often leave empty bins in the middle of the sidewalk, adding to the danger.
