Does It Bother You That Sarah Palin Doesn't Know What The Bush Doctrine Is?

Honestly, how many people actually knew what Charlie Gibson was referring to, or rather, WHICH Bush Doctrine he was referring to before Gov. Palin asked him to clarify? This is just another one of those things that the media was waiting to pounce on in order to make a conservative look like a fool. There are countless Obama blunders, especially in settings when he is without a teleprompter, but do we see reference to Obama's mention of "all 57 states" in the U.S. dominating the headlines? Or how about his threat to bomb Pakistan, one of our supposed allies?
No matter what the woman does, Gov. Palin will be highlighted as an unprepared fool by the media, but luckily the majority of us are wise to the media's tactics by now and can see through the bias to make our own decisions.

I think that she knew that he was trying to get her to say something that the Democrats could use against her. So for her to ask him to clarify which point he was talking about was not wrong. What the media often does is ask such vague, or broad, questions, that it makes it difficult to answer adequately. Get to the point, and a clear answer then can be expected.

If you see the Bush Doctrine as having more than one meaning don't you believe Palin should have at least been able to come up with ONE if she's been paying any attention at all? Especially with a son going off to war.
I'm your typical soccer mom and I only pay attention now and then to what's going on in the world. I would have been able to have answered that question. I at least want someone smarter than me making the world's greatest decisions!! Now, I KNOW that's not asking much!!! LOL!!

Charles gibson did not do his homework,

There is no single meaning of the Bush doctrine. In fact, there have been four distinct meanings, each one succeeding another over the eight years of this administration -- and the one Charlie Gibson cited is not the one in common usage today. when Sarah asked "in what respect?" That was a legit andvery intelligent question.that we have the right of anticipatory self-defense."

charlie's answer of The Bush Doctrine "That we have the right of anticipatory self-defense." was wrong. Bush's current doctrine is spread democracy throughout the world.
