I worked in a travel related business for many years and was awarded the opportunity to travel for free both on busness and personally. Once I started traveling alone I had a very difficult time traveling with others. Like you I loved talking with strangers, especially people of other cultures. Many of my family and friends thought I was crazy to venture out on my own. They were always afraid for me. But I will never reqret having done so. Do to health issues I can no longer travel, but I will always remember every trip I ever took.
