Getting On was brilliant ,,,,,,Laurie Metcalf deserves an emmy for Dr James! The entire cast was great this show should still be in production......it will be missed.this show reminded me of Headcase with Alexandria Wenworth brillantly funny!!!

My DVR cut out before the credits but I am positive the wheelchair folksinger was the real Janis Ian! Add that to the hysterical character played by Rhea Perlman a few weeks ago and I want to cry out loud for this cancelled series! Laurie Metcalf is brilliant. Unlike the downer Nurse Jackie, THIS is the series that should have continued way longer than 3 seasons.
