Boggs was a great hitter, turned traitor, just like Sparky, /damon and any of the others, Clemons included. Retiring a Number should be for only those who played most of their career in Boston and finished their careers as a Red Sox. Period. Think Yaz, Ted, Big Papi and the others, True to Red Sox Nation.

I thought the timing was weird. I voted no because if they didn't do it 10 years ago, they shouldn't do it now.
