Mr. Cruz was born in Canada therefore he is a Canadian and not an American. He should be barred from running for president. He is a natural born Canadian.

I've read that the term "Natural Born Citizen" applies only to people born in the U.S.A., it's territories, embassies, military bases, etc., and I've also read there's a law from 1790 saying that anyone who has an American parent is a "Natural Born Citizen" no matter where they were born. Considering the enormously important matter at hand, I for one think it's long past time for the Supreme Court to make a definitive decision about what is meant by the term "Natural Born Citizen".
