#TeamJada: It's important to combat discrimination in all aspects of our lives. The Oscars is only one aspect of the problem, what about addressing the whole Hollywood machine that makes it difficult for woman, Asians, Latinos as well as blacks getting the plumb roles, being able to pitch their movies, and getting jobs in the industry, etc. Jada has started an important conversation, time to create universal change. PS Let's not forget changes the Jada and Will made years ago when boycotting the MTV Awards even while Will was a winner.

Our people are at a 360 back to the 60s.Janet is lost if she thinks Black Lives Matter and the Oscars are different subjects. We are being destroyed from every angle. She says she is 60yrs old, where was she in the 60s and 70s ?

"TEAMJADA! Janet is a joke and a hater! She knows that if she was relevant and working she would have a different view on the situation! How stupid is that woman. Will does not have to speak up if he doesn't want too, his wife Jada has a voice of her own!

Brandon, we do show up to black awards shows! The problem with the white award shows is they are so afraid black people will take over that show too, and win, so they keep the black actors out! We are good at everything we do! Deal with it and be fair, not afraid! PERIOD!!

We as black ppl always want to be a part of something that was never meant for us, as a way of feeling special and socially excepted. IM A HOUSE NIGGA im better than you field niggas. At the end of the day your ass still a nigga just a nigga with money. Rich white ppl show rich black ppl that all the time ex MJ, Cosby, and of course Oj Only elite in the black communities. And they act too good for real black ppl but want the support of all black ppl when they get shit on by the very ones they are trying to embrace .

Why does the African American community of actress and actors need validation from an Oscar ? Take more pride in black award shows , you don't even show up. Be celebrated at home by those who actually appreciate your art the most, even saying that everyone has their fight to fight.

It's really a shame that some individuals have to make themselves relevant on the shoulders of others. Pick your own cause to support. Tearing each other down is not the dream that MLK envisioned for us.#TeamJada
