I do like this idea but I do not think it is feasible anytime soon. The United Nations is set up to work out problems and find solutions to global power and in light of recent activities (since it was set up) I'm not sure the wars have stopped or permission is asked for. I would not want to be united with some of these countries until they purge themselves of violence and I'm sure they feel the same way about us in America. It is a shame that all people of every country can not find a way to enforce non violence for their country but as we know, we vote in presidents for this reason, so we don't have to be concerned. This is a problem because until we learn to take an active part in our governments, we will never be able to make changes to our world. The sixties movement was the closest it has ever come to a lot of people protesting war. I really think there should be some kind of internet access to government policies where the president must take a look at what people have to say about these issues before he/she resorts to violence. This web site could be set up with different categories so "we the people" can increase our presence and reply to what is going on in all areas of our country.
