How is the city of Annapolis doing on snow removal?

We were thrilled with the responsiveness of the Mayor and Public Works crews. All things considered, our streets were made passable in a relatively short amount of time and then cleaned up and clear soon thereafter. Thank you so much for your efforts!

I've been amazed at how much the public works employees and snow contractors have accomplished in such a short time. I don't recall our streets and roadways ever being cleared so quickly and throughly. I'm very grateful to them for working so hard round the clock. It's cold, hard work. And an additional kudos to the Midshipmen who pitched in and helped the downtown residents dig out.

The City is doing an awesome job. They were out at 3:30 am with front loaders. I don't remember this kind of response in the 11 years I have lived in the City.

"Good" is not correct, the county and state did well.

To state in your article that many HOA's are hiring private companies to plow is a cop-out. We pay taxes and should receive the same services no matter where we live. We are a small community so we "don't count" in the scheme of things. This is abysmal and should not be tolerated. I hope none of the highway department members have elected positions because they will not have my vote next time.
