How far away from the Super Bowl are the Falcons?

Sigh...we'll be lucky to break 8-8 again as long as K. Shanahan is the OC. It's going to take another coaching change and by then Ryan will be too old, so we're a long ways away from being SB contenders. Our time to go to the SB was in 2012 and we blew it.

We may need to think about getting a mobile QB, with a good arm.

Real facons fan that watched every game. DQ was and still is the beat coach for Atlanta as of now. He brings everything Atlanta needs ok we didn't get any pass rush but our passrushers weren't good. And teb Carolina's offense is different not a bad offense Greg Olsen top 5 te Jonathan Stewart good rb and mvp qb Cam Newton try stop that offense and Atlanta beat the Panthers who else can say that.

With Dan Quinn as the Head Coach. The Falcons probably will never reach the Super bowl. Why, the falcons hire him over Todd Bowles .Is this another planet. T.Bowles as HC has a team. That went from 4-12 in 2014. To 10-6 in 2015 season. His team has NO real offense. While the Falcons has one of the top 10 offense this season 2015. All the Media are pushing the Falcons to WASTE a draft choice on a WR. Why ???? If D. Quinn will get / sign 2 or more good / great pass rushers. The Falcons will be a playoff team in 2016 season. The Carolina team has NO real offense. But they have good defense. But by some miracle they are in the Super Bowl this year.

Hit on all our draft picks? Man are you drinking the Kool Aid. As long as Dimitroff and company are making picks they'll be lucky to hit on 2 out of 5. You do realize we only have 5 picks this year?

If we can snag another pass rusher in the 1st or 2nd round of this years draft, we will have a very good defensive line rotation. Linebacking core needs help, we need an upgrade at both safety spots although Ricardo Allen is a viable short term stop-gap. I hate to say this, as he is one of my favorite falcons but William Moore needs to be cut. He simply can't stay healthy and is a shell of his former self. Unless Jalen Collins makes VAST improvements this off-season, we need an outside corner. Alford's skill set is much better suited for the nickel spot. On the offensive side of the ball, we need a #2 receiver, an upgrade at tight end (although Tamme is a viable option for the 2016 season). We need a center in the worst way, I thought it was crazy to cut Hawley, he set the tone on the o-line and was nasty. Guard play is decent but obviously Chester will need to be replaced sooner rather than later.

In conclusion, that may sound like a lot but if we can hit on all of our draft picks and sign a couple of good free agents, we can turn this thing around and be in playoff contention this coming season and make a deep push in 2017.
