Ted is my American Hero, he is fighting those who are against our God given rights, he can't help it if they are of the synagogue of satan! If he truly didn’t understand what he was doing when he made multiple antisemitic posts and actually didn’t mean to perpetuate antisemitism he really aught to say so publicly, on his own. He certainly has the platform to do so. He should come out against David Duke who used the Facebook posts to further his disgusting agenda. Nugent is a strange character; he works so hard on his reputation most of the time, but no matter how old he gets he can't gain the wisdom to overcome his inner impulsive jackass.
Having grown up in Detroit, I've sort-of followed his career since the late sixties. He had his first hit with a druggie band, then spent years implausibly demanding we believe that he'd never ever done drugs in his entire life. Spent more years implausibly demanding we believe that he never ate meat he hadn't killed himself. He never demanded we believe he was anything but the sleaziest groupie-banger on the rock circuit, which he was. But the one charge I never heard anybody make was that he was an anti-semite. And we'd have noticed.
He's also never been accused of being a deep reader or thinker, and I can believe that he posted that awful graphic without examining it or its origins. It's precisely the kind of stupid thing Nugent does from time to time, just to sound outrageous.
I'm tired of him, but I don't believe he's a Jew-hater.
