That is our national anthem. How dare she turn something so beautiful that men and women died for into her "own". Your not even Canadian!! Please stick to your own music and leave our National Anthem ALONE!! Embarrassing is all I can say........

I didn't think it was that bad at all. I don't know why every one is so quick to criticize? She sang the Canadian National Anthem. There were no screw ups or errors, she sounded great, and she was brave enough and talented enough to create musical history and heritage into the performance. She is a true Canadian, and her performance shows she is proud of her Canadian Heritage and Country. A job well done if you ask me, and I hope she doesn't let other people's narrow "tunnel minded" opinions bring her down just because she "stepped out of the box" a bit and threw her own twist on it. Her voice was powerful, she was passionate and she demonstrated exactly what the roots of our beautiful Country are.
