Just in food peoples that are working hard have to buy they own food like me. They should get the food stamps for grocery stop the cash money.

this is all bull *&^%^&^.YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN..............make them go to work or clean up the streets..i never got anything for nothing like these people do ... when my kids were growing up in springfield if I could not make ends meet I got a part time job..at one point I worked 60 hrs a week and 2 part time jobs..enough is enough...

There are many who cannot get EBT benefits who really need them, but are denied because they "make too much money"- These are hard working individuals who could use the assistance... Why should recipients be able to splurge on alcohol, cigarettes and other "habits" when there's people who are struggling to put the basics into their home? EBT needs to be monitored more, if the recipients don't care for it, work for your money and do what you want with it.

The people who abuse the use of there EBT cards should have them taken away, There are honest people out there who appreciate the help and don't abuse the system so why should these others be able to do it and get away with it. I bet there are families out there that truly need it and are denied..... PUT AND END TO THIS ITS JUST NOT RIGHT. ( cig, beer purchases on an EBT card ) would never happen in the state I lived in .

I work in a grocery store and if I cannot afford things like shrimp and lobster, why should EBT users be allowed to buy such expensive items,,, and I see a lot of Russians on EBT who have never worked a day in their lives in the U.S., yet they get benefits.
