I say try The Coop or Pizza Carello in Gillette WY. Cattle Creek and Co in Sheridan is my other favorite plus Sheridan is a fantastic town. I think coming to Gillette could give Gillette some positive attention being the energy capitol and all!

Fiesta tequila in gillette wy hands down most authentic Mexican restaurant with alot of fun twists that no other one has !! They have all you Mexican favorites enchiladas, chimichangas and then of all the traditional Mexican food, you can find in all parts or mexico, stree tacos, tortas, home made carne seca, carnitas, amazing sea food creations, home made 3 leches cake and flan. It would take you a whole year to try everything on the menu !!! chuy (the owner) has created some of the craziest combinations to meet all customers wants and likings, like the 7 pound burrito challenge, that only 5 people have been able to complete so far !! Or the party margarita that is enough for 5 or more people !! If anyone deserves the visit it is chuy he is a kind hearted single dad that loves his customers and treats every one like family !!!

Jo-Bawbs Barbeque on 601 E. Boxelder in Gillette WY has to be some of the BEST BBQ I've ever had! They started out by doing competitions here and there and vending where they could and now they have a little shop to serve their award winning BBQ. Lon Mitchell and his wife JoAnn are some of the nicest, sweetest, down to earth people you'll ever meet! Their ribs fall off the bone, they've placed high in several KCBS competitions. They have several trophy's on display. It's not a typical sit down and eat restaurant, just a small shack they were able to acquire in Gillette WY. But their food is to DIE FOR!!! I HIGHLY recommend checking them out! My mouth waters just thinking about it!
Canyon Springs Stage Stop Steakhouse is located 3.8 miles east of US Highway 85 on a gravel road and nestled in the Black Hills of Wyoming ! Population 2. the nearest town is Newcastle WY and it is 22 miles south. Sundance WY is 34 miles to the north. And Deadwood SD is 45 miles to the east. The Steakhouse is in the middle of nowhere but in the middle of everywhere. The food is fantastic. Checkout tripadvisor and facebook. The customers say it best! Would love to show off our part of Wyoming!

Wow, Jackson is the on,y place in WY?! Try Sheridan (Wyoming Chop House or Wyoming Creek and Cattle Co.), Buffalo (Winchester Steakhouse), Casper (Sherrie's, Eggington's, Bosco's, Johnnie J's Diner), just to name a few. (Unfortunately, Casper has lost some very good places, most are reopening as bars with bar food.) Most town's, big or small, have that one place that is great! Again, get away from Jackson, it really doen't represent the state.

Dash Inn in Buffalo, WY has a great variety on the menu. Stop on and try the super double bacon dash burger, or the fried chicken is amazing, the ribs are delish, the tacos are always a favorite, chicken sand is good and so is chicken salad sandwich. Try anything on the menu and you will be pleased! I believe this restaurant is worthy of triple D's!

Oh yeah, the Roasted Bean in Riverton is great. Jeffrey's Bistro, Sweet Melissa's, or Boomer's BBQ in Laramie. Boomer's has no ambiance what-so-ever, but their BBQ (great sides and sauces), Bread Pudding, and Lager Chocolate Cake is delicious.

Mikes Big City grill in Rawlins, best prime to be had, does a great variety of food awesome authentic Mexican food. Portions out weight the price. Lots of elbow room while you eat. Best all around place I have eaten at. And he guarantees you won't leave hungry!

Would like to know why Jackson is the pick for this? There are a million other places in Wyomong! Liras restaurant in Lingle, wy has amazing Mexican food and Stockman and Miners in Hartville is a great Steakhouse. Please consider those, also!!
