I didn't fix a camera but fixed a broken Canon 70 - 200 mm zoom lens belonging to a friend when he dropped his Canon A1 or AE1 on the ground with this lens attached. The mount was smashed and as he had a 50mm lens he never used, I took the zoom lens mount to bits, making sketches of all the multitude of screws and levers etc. Did the same with the 50mm lens and transferred all the bits across. Only problem was a multi-start thread but got that right at the second attempt - all worked and focussed perfectly - job done.

It was a very simple camera, Ensign Fulvue, it just needed a clean & being very simple it does not count.
I bought it because it was the first camera that I had so I had to have one.
a lot of the surveys are direct at Digital, so I do not answer many.

I bought an old Olympus and surprise surprise ,it did not work. So I ended up taken it to pieces , I did find. the problem and fixed it, but on putting back together the fault reappeared! I was not happy! But what can you expect for £2.50! It was fun , but it ended up in the bin.

I answered NO because I haven't actually had to 'repair' as such, but I did resurrect my old EOS600 when the rain got in, a month in a bag of rice in a warm place did the trick!
