Do you think Governor Robert Bentley should resign after these allegations of a scandalous affair with his adviser Rebekah Mason were made public?

The man has never even drawn a salary since being in office so frankly what is everyone so upset for. We had a president that disgraced our country that was never impeached and he was reelected as president and was a known liar and we paid him dearly. It appears to me he made a huge mistake and is paying for it daily. The media here always seems to kick a down dog to death. Is there no other news in our area for the media to talk about? At least he admitted his issues, if the truth be known most all the people in Montgomery's big house are probably having a good time
    Move on people of Alabama

How can a governor make moral and/or ethical decisions for his state when his own morals and ethics are less than desirable. The man had a secret affair then lied to the entire State of Alabama. He needs to step down!

Omg people wake up. He is human. We have an idiot for president and everybody is worried about a sex scandal. We need to be impeaching Obama but no one gives a darn about that though. Leave the man alone as long as he does a good job. He made a mistake like we all don't make them..... I am sure he has learned his lesson but mean while Obama is allowed to screw up the country but I guess that is okay.

Yes, i forgive him....however I think he should resign as Governer, he is not just another person, he is the Governer for all the people and this makes a big impac on the entire state, he lied,,,,,if he just said "I did it" now lets get on with governing the state..........that would have made a big diference

Where is Mr Roy Moore in all of this? If it had been the other political party he would have been the first to voice his displeasure.....Enough already- Alabama has gotten a bad reputation over the years as being full of bible thumpers..Now Bentley plays "THE GOD" card. Just do the right thing and retire and do whatever you want to do and if that includes Rebakkah, then that is fine.

Bently committed adultery. He should give the Governor office up. I read somewhere that he teach Sunday School alone side his mistress husband. Bently should read the Bible ( Exodus 20:14, James 4:4 and Proverbs 6:32 ).

Were the recording of the Governor recorded legally? As I understand Alabama law one of the partied in the conversation had to give the third party permission the make the recording.

People who live in glass houses should not throw stones! We all have done things that were not right. It is so easy to do wrong. He has asked us to forgive him and we must if we want to be forgiven. We must forgive and FORGET.

I believe we have heard that emphatic statement before from someone much higher up than Bentley and turns out he lied.
Bentley is lying too and he should resign. This is a public disgrace for our state.

It is apalling that a Man would run for Governor on Family values and Christian principles and he is having an affair with a mistress and is already getting a divorce. He is a hypocrite, and he is immoral. He needs to resign.

If he did have an affair with this lady I'm ok with it. Last time I checked they are both adults and can do this if they want

This sounds like DEJA VUE. Remember Bill Clinton "I did not..."
He needs to step down or let her go. She sounds like an office wife
