Have you encountered age discrimination in your work environment?

I believe employers have discriminated against me because of my age.
I'm not old enough to face age discrimination, but I've seen cases of discrimination against older workers.
Where I work, skills supersede age as a determinant of whether someone gets hired or promoted.
I think age discrimination happens, but only rarely.

I believe not only do they discriminate against age, they also look at your weight. See it's an image thing with employeers. Mostly if you are representing them in Sales and or Customer Service. Then they think yuou are a health risk. No one wants an older mature dependable worker they want not to pay. Employeers LIE to your face. They will tell you, " you the best so far however I have a lot of interveiwing to do. So theyt get your hopes up. Two days later they call ( if you're lucky) they say the job has been filled and good luck woth your search. They all LIE
