Why waste time and money on something so small. Only having watched the gif clip a dozen times did I notice the difference

i do like the new design. gives a little consistency with other uwp apps. my only problem si with the start menu(the upcoming start screen is all nice). i would like the upcoming start menu to feature a button to show/hide all apps list. on start screen you are not seeing all apps always when you're seeing tiles, so why would you want that on start menu, when the space is even smaller. thats my only concers. put a feature to hide/show all apps, in the new start menu, and you can send it already.

This is a tricky one. I like the idea of having All Apps directly below the MRU. I did submit feedback to MS about allowing the mouse wheel scroll down when hovering over the MRU to automatically scroll up the All Apps list (as if you were scrolling down from the MRU to All Apps). I suppose this is exactly that but without the subtle animation in my head.
I dislike the system functions being moved to the side. I'm all for having them represented as icons only, but have them in a row along the bottom. This seems ultimately wasteful of space as most users will end up with a long empty column along the left edge of their Start menu.

I like it, but maybe the profile picture and it's options will go on top.

I voted for the new start menu but I want to reserve judgment until I see it in an Insider build.

I think they should give it to users as an option
