He's a big moron and monkey butt. I'd have to say any dog (preferably a muscular, strong dog such as a pitbull) with rabies.

  • Pam Poulin - 2 years ago

To Melinda: That is a very close minded comment. Rottweilers are not mean, and aggressive, and they are definitely not underhanded as this is a HUMAN trait and we all know that dogs are NOT HUMANS!!

  • Dale Dunbaugh - 2 years ago

President Obama is definitely a doberman pinscher: Elegant, cool, calm, quietly on guard, always alert, excellent self control, good sense of humor, devoted, shrewd, and compitent, all while transmitting a CAUTION warning! Reading a collection of comments usuallly brings me back to reality when it comes to the human race. Amazing! Dogs are some of the finest mammals I've ever known, loved or worked with-God bless them!

    Thanks for the sapace, DDD

OK Julie you have obviously never owned an AKC registered well bred chihuahua. I have had 31 of them and all have been sweet loving faithful and kind. Many of them have never met a stranger they didn't like. With your attitude they could always make an exception!!!!!!!!!!!

  • SLP - 2 years ago

This was really a dumb question to ask as it just fuels the fire of bigetry and hatred and side-taking. For heavens sake people, Obama is our President, like it or not and name bashing does not change one thing except to make you a lesser person than "hopefully" you are. If we would just show a little respect for all people whether we agree with them or not, we might find a middle ground that we could communicate in. We should be grateful that we live in a free nation and think of all the wonderful blessings we have, rather than all the negativity. May you count your blessings this thanksgiving because even though we disagree on many things, we have so much more than anyone else or any other Country.

I don't feel Obama could be ether a Dog or a Cat. He isn't loyal to the people that feed him. He only wants to take from them and control them, so I can't even think of what type of an animal he would be. I guess a Vicious Power Hungry mud womp.

  • Grandma T - 2 years ago

NONE: There are no dogs or cats that say one thing and do another. Our glorious president is a master at that. Rather than an animal, he would be a prestigitator--a magician, skilled in slight of hand. His standard method of operation is to say anything to trash anyone who doesn't agree with him. He'll promise anything by using the kind of statistics that lie (statistics lie, liars use statistics). Also, there are no animals as thin-skinned as he is. He takes every comment personally and then bad-mouths whoever said it. He holds grudges. As far as I am concerned, he has no central core of beliefs. It's all about the Marxist views he wants to force on us whether we like it or not. I didn't like McCain, either, but at least he doesn't lie and takes criticism like a man. I fear for the future of our republic.

what kind of crazy question is this!!!!????? if you wanted to attract the looney fringe-you certainly did a great job. President Obama is certainly the most intelligent president we've had in the last two terms, but from reading these comments I see there is a segment of the population that is the exact opposite. Such a shame.

  • Maddie - 2 years ago

I think he would be a doberman, big ears, fast, smart but not the smartest. (not an insult or a compliment). Also fast and able to win the race. XD (stupid pun)

  • LC - 3 years ago

Oops - I meant to say NONE of which Obama is.

  • LC - 3 years ago

PLEASE DON'T INSULT THE CATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are intelligent, careful, loving, selective and great protectors in their own way - one of which Obama is.

  • Edna - 3 years ago

Obama is 1/2 BULL dog and the other 1/2 SHIT-ZU!!!!!!!! You add it up!!!!!!!!!

  • Ann - 3 years ago

I agree with Nicole. He could never be a dog, any kind of dogs. He is definitely more like an unsocialized cat, arrogant and remote.

  • JoeAnne G. Pellini - 3 years ago

President Obama would be a Border Collie, because: He is a hard worker, loyal to his family, sharp, smart, quick, organized, brings people together, he is athletic, in charge, almost always one step ahead of everyone else, learns quickly, knows when or when not to "push someone's buttons", fun and silly, likeable, great leader, when he is sleeping he is really "recharging!", he is good looking, slender, and he is Black and White !!!!!!!!! Best of all I finally feel like I can say with pride.... He is MY President!

  • Suzicue - 3 years ago

Of all the comments I read I agreed with Christina and 2nd Susan the most. To Scooterpie and Toni your comments of "Right on!" could best be re-phrased as, "RIGHT on and on and on and on...!

  • Redheather - 3 years ago

I choose a Blue Heeler because he is like them........they smile and jump up on you to play, then when you turn your back (like electing him) they run up behind you and bite you in the leg or butt!

  • Jane - 3 years ago

I believe people are seeing are who THEY are.

  • Connie - 3 years ago

If Obarma were a dog, he would be a Saint Bernard.... hopefully he will be rescuing this country from the mess that it is in! He inspires confidence, and reliability!!

  • Donna - 3 years ago

Obama would be an Afghan Hound - all show and no substance!

  • Fred - 3 years ago

I cannot accept anyone as being an African-American unless they were born in Africa and immigrated to this magnificent country of America. At best Obama is a half black/halfwhite, Hawaiian-American

  • Tat - 3 years ago

Hmmm... Interresting Bible study. Revelation 13, Romans 13. Two interresting sides of a coin. May I add 1 Timothy 1-4. Pray for the "dog " in authority so we may lead quiet and peaceable lives in all godliness and for his salvation even if we fear Revelation 13 applies. After all, Christians were given this instruction even when Nero reigned. Perhaps the "dog" can be tamed or God may use him for His purposes. Time will tell

I am apalled at the level of many people's comments. And the lack of many Obama supporters' comments---maybe many of his supporters don't have dogs. I say he's an Australian shepherd mix: mine has no pedigree but he exhibits many of the breed's traits: loyalty, intelligence, love of his GROUP, calmness and watchfulness. A wonderful dog and I expect the new President to be similar in all these attributes.

  • Anne - 3 years ago

I LOVE the milsum!!!!!!! VERY creative! BUT I think he would be best a mongrel..... and a white one, because he only plays up his black heritage and doesn't credit the white part of it.... of course it was playing up the dark side that won him the votes......

  • Christina - 3 years ago

Sounds like most of you are bitter towards the Man that is going to take care of you for the next four years. It's obvious how mature, and well calculated Obama is from the way he ran his campaign... compare it to McShame's. McCain/Palin spread nothing but malice and to top it all off they played the Christian ticket. I'm Christian and I have absolutely no respect for McCain or Palin. So my Obama comparison would be to a German pinscher they are lively and smart dogs. Fearless but can be headstrong. He tends not to bark as much as other dogs, but will bark when strangers approach. The bark comment can also be compared to McCain who ran his mouth his whole campaign but never had any point.

    Romans 13

  • Denise - 3 years ago

I voted Dachshund, they're vicious biters. Read Revelations chapter 13 (the first beast), verse 5 - 9. It was an historic election alright. We are in deep dookie.

  • Tat - 3 years ago

I don't know enough about dogs or Obama to know for sure, but my guess is that Obama would be a mixed breed shelter dog. His heritage is mixed and he has been abandoned by his father and raised partially by his grandmother as well as by his mother. He is a surviver, talks a good talk, but not high strung, fast, plays his cards close to his chest, smart, popular, young. Perhaps an Afghan hound, German Shepherd, Airdale Terrier, and American Cocker Spaniel mix. Unusual dog. Mccain on the other hand is not as charismatic or mysterious but seems to me to be a loyal, steady predictable golden retriever. What do you think?

    I don't think he's a dog at all...more like a cat...calculated and arrogant

  • Donna - 3 years ago

And by the way, Pit Bull Dogs are ~NOT~ "dangerous"!! They do NOT bit people, they love EVERYONE, another quality they share with President Obama!

  • Donna - 3 years ago

I agree with Linda, except for the breed of Dog. I think he would be a Pit Bull, because I believe they share the intelligence, the loyalty, the strength of character, the sense of humor and the stick-to-itiveness.

  • Julie - 3 years ago

I really disagree with melinda. Her view of Rotties is completely off-base. My Rotts are without a doubt the BEST DOGS i've ever had. Those little yippy dogs are the back stabbers and biters. Don't worry folks, OSama OBama will prove himself everybit as good a president as chihuahuas are a good breed of dog.

  • Vicki and Alan - 3 years ago

A new breed of dog ! "milsum", seeing that Dog, is God spelled backwards!!!

  • Mitzi - 3 years ago

I agree with the Great Dane, or Akita, or any beautiful, loving, calm, intelligent dog. Unlike McCain, who I can only think of "BULL-dog" because he is so full of BULL.... (he even looks like one!).
Unfortunately Senator McCain, who seems like a nice enough guy, has lost ALL of my respect for bringing Sarah Palin into the picture (can we say "Jack Russell Terrier"?). How anyone could want her in the White House is beyond me. Frightening.

  • Toni - 3 years ago

Funny......I thought a "Rabid" Pit Bull. Sorry to all the bad raps Pit Bulls a getting here....
But, I did LOVE the Chihuahua comment! Right On!!!

  • VI - 3 years ago

i THINK HE WOULD MAKE A GREAT PIT BULL! DANGEROUS!!!!!!

  • VI - 3 years ago

  • Susan - 3 years ago

obama would be a bully breed cause he knows what its like to be misunderstood. Joe silverman compares uses bully breeds as an example of yellow mellow in his book what colar is your dog. Thats where you want the perfect dog. Green is shy and scarred of some thinks, blue is terrified of lots, orange is very exitable where most pets fall and red could be up to what Ceassar calls the red zone.

  • cmorelvis - 3 years ago

Obama would be a sausage-dog, a dachshund, because he is such a weiner!

  • Andy & Nancy - 3 years ago

Wow! Amazing how much anger we have. Hopefully you're just blowing off steam here and not taking it out on your poor pets. I'm sure that both Senators Obama and McCain are personally quite lovely men who are kind to animals. I can't imagine that a political position determines one's humanity.
On the dog note, I can see Senator Obama as a Border Collie - loyal, intelligent, quick to learn and willing to work with others. Something I'm sure we can all learn from ourselves whether or not he becomes our next president.

  • Lily - 3 years ago

I wouldn't diss any dog by comparing it to Obama! Cuz no matter what kind of dog it is...dogs don't lie! (But I do love the chihuahua comments! lol)
And really - if anyone wants to learn about Obama's BLATANT lies, just do a little research. I can't even begin to know where to start.

  • Linda - 3 years ago

Senator Obama has offered to buy his girls a dog. But it looks like he's been too busy to have a pet. Obviously they are busy this year, Peggie.

Like my sister's husband. He had nevr had a pet, and wasn't interested in her two cats. After they got married, though, the cats taught him how great a pet can be, and now they have a dog and cat, and as they are an older couple with disabilities, they sleep in different rooms. The cat sleeps with him.

And mean-spirited? Where in the world did you get that? From McCain?
Do some research! The one doing the name calling and lies is McCain and his co-hort!

  • Linda - 3 years ago

He would be a very intelligent problem-solver. All of you above need to do some research.
Based on what he has achieved in his lifetime, he is exactly the man we need.
As a dog, he might be a Labrador (i had some beautiful ones who were very intelligent and loyal to a fault) or like my Akita who is so intelligent that he has nothing to do with games and can solve practically any problem you set before him.

  • Marian - 3 years ago

I said he would be a standard poodle. He's graceful, intelligent and doesn't shed on the furniture.

  • Peggie - 3 years ago

Obama wouldn't be any animal because unlike Mccain, he hates animals. He has never owned a pet in his life. His daughter wants a dog, but he obviously doesn't want to get her one. I pity the dog that winds up in his house if he wins, because all Presidents have pets. Mccain has 6 or 7 rescue dogs, 6 cats, rescued horses and even turtles named cuff and link! He is alot nicer a person than Obama is, especially in the animal department!

  • Melinda - 3 years ago

Nobama would be a Rottweiler. Mean spirited and underhanded. Aggressive and out ONLY for himself.

  • Robert - 3 years ago

Obama would be a Great Dane. And he wouldn't make very much noise until he chomped some wandering Texan (see silliness of comment above) for trying to steal something out of his family's yard.

  • Aubs - 3 years ago

    Wowww... Real mature.

  • Scooterpie - 3 years ago

I like the chihuahua comparison!!!! You are right on!!!

  • Fort Worth - 3 years ago

I vote chihuahua for Obama because they share the following traits: (1) yappy, (2) annoying, (3) they both make a lot of noise but lack in size and substance. Sorry to all the chihuahuas in the world out there for the insult in the comparison.
