I think I just saw a mouse tonight in my garage. First thing in the morning I'm going to Home Depot to get traps because that little bastard is going down like Nino Brown.

When I moved to New York, rodents were a common problem, even after a through scrubbing. My cat was a ready made rat seeking missile when I lived near the City. And Rod, you can Karen would get along with my wife - as she damn jumps out her skin at the sight of a fly or ant. I don't get too freaked out about most critters, other than I probably didn't scrub a spot in the house well enough. also, I live in the Desert - leave a window open long enough and something's bound to fly or crawl into the crib on a hot day (ant, lizard, bird, etc.)
Mice don't scare as much as roaches, especially after I moved to LA, where you commonly find Mexican Cockroaches that can fly, bite you and are often size of small mice. I've literally walked past a roach on the sidewalk that gave me a head nod, dared me to step on him and walked on by. Little bastard didn't scurry or flinch, damn near challenged me to stare off on Santa Monica Blvd. That, well, that was a whole new level of terrifying and gross, getting bitched by a bug.

It was actually our cat who caught and killed it.
