With some states going above and beyond, should the federal $7.25/hr minimum wage be raised?

We don't need someone in Washington telling the hole country what to pay people. It might be OK in Calif. or New York City. But in some small cities in mid America that may be more than a store Owner makes. It may be OK for a state to have a min. wage but only if they vote for it. We need LESS federal control in our lives. You can't start a business if you can't make money having it and you can't keep in business if you don't pay your employees a fare wage. They will leave or someone else will hire them or they may go to school to improve what they can do for you or someone else. That system has worked for more than a hundred years. If you want the government to tell everybody what they are worth than who needs schools or experience in any field. They call that socialism an we don't need that in this country. See how good it works in 3rd world countries. I don't want to live in one of those countries do you???

Check it out, poor people want people to stay poor. Yet another example of the dumbing of America.

Lets raise it up to $100 hour. Then nobody would have a job. If you want less jobs raise there cost.
