I have been following U.S. politics closely for fifty years. That is undoubtedly the saddest list of potential running-mates I have ever seen. The Republican Party is truly in its death throes.

I do not believe Sarah Palin will help as she has managed to alienate a lot of the rank and file during her run in 2008. If you utilize Cruz or Kasich, you can forget my vote.
I was a resident of NM when Martinez was first elected and remember well her kicking tail in the political parties out there. She would actually get my Presidential vote, let alone my VP.

I agree with Diane M. , Condoleeza would be perfect. Other than her in order, my picks would be Mike Huckabee , Newt Gingrich, and Rudy Guliani because all of them have experience Trump needs to help him. I would also like to see Carson and Lynch as part of his cabinet.

I would have liked to have seen Condoleeza Rice on that list. She would have been my choice for several reasons. 1. Conservative. 2. Experience, but in no way a career politician. 3. Would attract the female vote. 4. Would attract the African American vote. 5. Cares about America.
With the passion , love of country and his willingness in making America Great Again of Trump. Plus the political knowledge, love for the country, and willingness to fight for America soil to protect her from other countries abuse that of Dennis Michael Lynch. What A Country this could be.

I like Carson the most as a VP, but honestly, I think Trump may need Kasich for VP, to win Ohio.

West would be a great choice but I equally like Newt Gingrich
